We will follow the Br 101 up to the magnificent SERRA DO RIO RASTRO with its 6 km in length reaching an altitude of 1450 meters.

SAO JOAQUIM Snow, apples and wine. With these three ingredients, São Joaquim is becoming one of the most prestigious places to visit in Santa Catarina. The town, which has around 25 thousand inhabitants, is currently the main destination for eager tourists to enjoy the snow on Brazilian soil. It snows almost every winter in São Joaquim, which is considered the coldest city in Brazil. The farm hotels, inns and family houses that have been converted into bed and :product. More recently, with the arrival of renowned wineries, São Joaquim has also become a popular stop for wine tourists. Some of its wines have won national and international awards.
URUBICÌ With its beautiful landscapes, Urubici is one of the Serra Catarinense’s shining stars. The natural attractions of the town, which has just over 10 thousand inhabitants, makes it one of the most sought out destinations in the country by fans of ecotourism. There are so many things to do that it is difficult to know where to start: rappelling on waterfalls that go as high as 100 m, horseback riding through valleys and high grasslands, canoeing, sport fishing, mountain biking, zip lining, canopy tours and guided hikes around the canyons. The view from the Pedra Furada, on the Morro da Igreja (Church Hill), the second highest point in the South of Brazil (1,822 m high) is a must see, as is the Serra do Corvo Branco, about 30 km from the center of the city.
