AZOREAN COOKING CLASS

Discover the secrets behind preparing Azorean cuisine during this informative half-day lunch tour.
Prepare our typical dish: Mussel “Lambe, lambe” which means “licks, licks”.   
 During your cooking class, learn how to prepare Mussel Lambe Lambe. The signature dish of Azorean cuisine in Florianópolis and a seafood dish prepared in a pan by our local chef.
After the cooking class, relax with a lunch your chef has prepared. Dessert is also served, Brigadeiro which is prepared with condensed milk, chocolate and butter.  The name originated because it was a favorite candy of an aircraft brigadier.

AZOREAN ROUTE

We will visit the Centro Histórico IN SANTO ANTONIO DE LISBOA  old houses, the Church Nossa Senhora das Necessidades(visit when is allowed), the old houses are an attraction in itself, in colonial Portuguese style give an special touch to the location. After we will know locations of Holiday crafts. After check the beauty of the landscape and the level of excellence of the mariculture of Santa Catarina, the visitors will taste the best oysters in the whole world (ostra in natura, ao bafo and gratinada) of the Restaurant Freguesia Oyster  Bar e Restaurante. Santo Antônio de Lisboa stands on the national scene as the largest producer of oysters in Brazil.

CAIPIRINHA CLASS

During the city tour, participants have approximate 20-30 minute walking tour.  Stops will be made at the Metropolitan Cathedral, the Municipal Market (the site where historically
all trades between villagers and travelers to occurred in the 17 th & 18 th Centuries - the site currently a fish market), and the old Customs House (now a local handicraft gallery, located next
to the Municipal Market).  20 minute stop at the Customs House.Visit the Governors Palace which houses the Historic Museum. Drive to view the 18 th Century Hercilio Luz Bridge.

CRAFT BEER

As  you approach the city, immediately notice the powerful European influence on its stunning architecture, some of which dates back to the 1800s Upon arrival visit Craft Beer Aless Blau and do a beer tasting.Craft beer Cervejaria Aless Blumenau “all right” or all jewelry in German.Next, re-board your coach and proceed for a Brazilian buffet lunch at the nearby Restaurant. After lunch, visit is made to biergarten and the Beer  Museum. During your guided museum tour, learn about the German traditions that have left an indelible imprint on the culture of this unique town, as well as the importance of German heritage in 19th-century southern Brazil. After visit downtown and enjoy free time.
